Kennen took over
Five of the Top 8 decks at a 622-player Showdown Series event were the same legend: Kennen. Last week I covered the Epics in these decks. This week I cover the rares and uncommons, $3 and up.
One rule first. Rares and above only come in foil. So a rare's price is already the foil price. Commons and uncommons come both ways, and the foil can cost a lot more.
Master Yi
The Master Yi legend is still about $19. Sabotage is one of the most expensive rares. Its market price is $18.69. It is up 5% in 30 days. If you have extras in your bulk, sell or trade them.
Zhonya's Hourglass is about $16.76. It is up 95% in 30 days. Most Master Yi decks run two. That is more than most Vendetta Epics. Sell or trade your extras.
Scuttle Crab is $3.43, up 52%. Keep it in your trade binder. Defy is a common, and it is $3.73, up 54%. The foil is $7.50. If you have foils, trade or sell them.
Diana
Stacked Deck is an uncommon at $10.81. Last week it was about $8. It is up 46% in 30 days. The foil is about $17, so a foil playset is about $55. Sell or trade your extras.
The Nexus Night promo Stacked Deck is about $16.49. It is up 120%. It is the same card, and I think the promo foil looks better.
Fizz, Trickster is a rare with a market price of $10.60. It is up 33% in 30 days. I sold my extras and used the money for a Draven Overnumbered. Tideturner is about $2.45 and barely moved. You can hold it.
Irelia
The Irelia - Blade Dancer (Overnumbered) has a market price of $170. The lowest listing is $200. It is up about $10 since last week. The Irelia deck uses many of the same cards: Fizz, Scuttle Crab, Tideturner and Defy.
Kennen
The Kennen, Heart of the Tempest (Overnumbered) was about $226 last week. Now its market price is $265. It is down 15% over 30 days, but it is heading back up. If you want one, I think now is the time. If Kennen wins Barcelona, I expect it and its cards to go up.
Salvage is an uncommon at $4.19. It is up 61% in 30 days. The foil is about $10. It kills gear, and Aurora and Azir decks use a lot of gear.
Nocturne is $4.81. It is down 13.5% in 30 days. Rhasa the Sunderer is about $4.40. It is up 53%. If you only have three or four Rhasa, I would keep them.
My take
Some rares and uncommons now cost more than Vendetta Epics. I think Origins needs a reprint. Until then, sell or trade your extras for the cards you need.
