$360 retail, $8,500 sold
When I saw the Korean T1 bundles listed for $3,500, I figured the English one would sell for about double. I was wrong. An English bundle just sold on eBay for $8,500. That is a real sale, and the bundle does not ship until September 2.
This is the Riftbound T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition bundle. It retails for $360. Riot sold it by lottery, and winners were told today. I was lucky enough to get one.
What is in the bundle
There are five champion units, each picked by a member of the T1 roster. All five are gold foil in a special frame.
Riot made 10,125 English bundles. Each one has four regular cards and one signed card. The signed card is gold stamped and serial numbered, with the player's real signature. Which player you get is random, one in five.
So there are exactly 2,025 signed serial copies for each player. The supply is the same for all five. The prices will not be.
What eBay shows
On day one, sales ran from about $2,000 up to $8,500. Many landed between $7,000 and $8,000. One listing showed $10,000, but the seller took an offer. The top real sale was $8,500. One seller is asking $15,000.
Which signed card will be worth the most
Here is my ranking of the signed serial cards:
- Galio - Indefatigable (T1 Signature Edition) (Signed Serial). This is Faker's card. He is one of the greatest players ever, with fans worldwide.
- Miss Fortune - Buccaneer (T1 Signature Edition) (Signed Serial). Miss Fortune has a big collector base.
- Seraphine - Not Alone (T1 Signature Edition) (Signed Serial).
- Xin Zhao - Vigilant (T1 Signature Edition) (Signed Serial) and Ambessa - The Wolf (T1 Signature Edition) (Signed Serial).
Serial number 1 will carry the biggest premium. I think number 2025 could match it.
Grading could add more
A BGS 10 is hard to get, so it adds a premium over a PSA 10. A BGS Black Label 10 is even rarer. An Ahri Black Label already sold for almost $40,000. In a few years, I can see a Faker number 1 or number 2025 Black Label selling for over $100,000.
I plan to grade all of mine with BGS and keep them.
